During the process of completing this work I might be interrupted by a low battery or a lense breaking. to overcome these problems i will have a spare battery, lense and a spare camera. This will prevent any mishaps or unwanted problems from accuring.

Weekly Production Monitering Blog - 21th March
Targets
Last week i finished most of my unit 3 corsework with only the flat plan and double page spread left to complete. Everything went to plan and nothing went wrong. there was a power cut but my work was recently saved.
Progress
This week i have to complete my Photo Shoot Plan as well as my Flat Plan and Double Page Spread Rational. I will do this at home on my laptop for a more relaxed environment. I wont have to learn any specific skills to complete this.
Contingencies
I could go blank and not know what to write about but this is the only problem that could happen. i will avoid this my taking notes to jog my memory if it does go blank.

| This is my music magazine cover draft. |
This week i must book a camera and the studio at the same time for a minimum of an hour. I will do this on Tuesday, then book it for Thursday.
I will visit the atrium to book these two facilities and equiptment. i will have to learn how to use canted lenses for my photoshoot to have an impacted photo.
Contingencies
I must take the photos and arrange the lighting to have an impact on my target audience with my photo for my front cover as well as the images inside.
If these go wrong I will redo them until they go correctly.

Music Magazine Mock
when creating my music magazine cover i framed the image of my model with titles and headlines aswell as background stripes. my model positioned himself very efficiently and exectly how i asked. i took my image in cloudy weather to make the image appear as if he had some major problems in his life. i had no problems with the backdrop because i cropped the model out of it.
i used very small margin guides so i can input alot more exciting headlines. i used several fonts from http://www.dafont.com/ like VKS Revolt and hourseshoes and lemonade. this made my titles and headlines appeal to my target audience more because of the attractive shapes and styles. i used the gradient tool to apply stripes from on corner to the middle aswell as auto shapes to create a skyline to advertise a free poster within my magazine. my colours consisted of blues blacks and silvers to create a cool, gothic/skater approach to the magazine. my text allignment frames model and enhances the main sell lines.
my magazine cover has language that makes the TA feel linked to the article like alice cooper on drugs. a popular artist doing this people of my TA age know about. my imagery indicates the mental state of alice cooper as he is pulling a face of craziness. i used natural lighting in my shot of my model, i used a backdrop of a wall outside of the studio, i used a basic but effective pose for my model,
i would like to perfect the cropping pen tool to get more precise and appealing cuts of images. i had no technical problems when creating my magazine cover.

Side Lighting Blog
Front lighting is used mostly for visibility and color. It is also used to isolate an individual person or set piece. The most common use of side lighting is effect. Side lighting is often used with bolder colors to accent movements and contrasting colors coming from the opposite sides. Both of these ways of lighting are realy effective and can enhance a picture or video sufficiently enough to give it feeling or an effect on the target audience.
Shutter Speed Blog
Shutter speed is measured in seconds – or in most cases fractions of seconds. The bigger the denominator the faster the speed (ie 1/1000 is much faster than 1/30).
If you’re using a slow shutter speed (anything slower than 1/60) you will need to either use a tripod or some some type of image stabilization (more and more cameras are coming with this built in)
this is an image showing shutter speeds as well as the amount of light coming in for each speed.
